Incorporating a first year ‘off the job’ placement with a Training Provider, a Brandauer Apprentice will undergo specific training and academic education to enable the individual to become familiar with, and expert in the application of specific skills to support both the business and the individual’s prosperity. Scheduled over approximately 4 years the apprentice will achieve NVQ practical and City & Guilds/ BTEC academic qualifications to support their future growth within the business.

As the Company is situated within central Birmingham, training providers from across the City are quite easily accessible and future apprentices will be based at the most convenient to their home location. Brandauer currently has partnerships with two respected training providers who both help to source potential candidates and to also provide first year ‘off the job’ training, as well as academic and vocational training for the duration of an apprenticeship. Based at a brand new facility in Aston this training provider has an impressive set up to cover both apprentice and adult training. The facility has new ‘state of the art’ Bench, Machining, IT and training room facilities to back up both conventional engineering training as well as CNC, CAD, Welding, Electrical etc training. The facility also delivers academic training by both day and block release methods.
Based at an expanding site in Aldridge this training provider provides a similar service to that of the EEF albeit in a more mature facility. Their first year ‘off-the-job’ plan means being based at the Training Centre for at least 9 months.
